Our Story
Dr. Lacy Kessler first opened her practice as a single physician office in 2012. Born and raised in Waco, Dr. Kessler has a heart to serve the women of Central Texas and was passionate about opening her practice in Waco. As she listened to her patients, Dr. Kessler began to add services to her office that would streamline care for her patients. She added in-house labs and in-house sonography. In 2016 Nurse Practitioner Kimberly Austin joined the team upon completion of her training with Dr. Kessler. When Dr. Voige came on board in 2018 Deerwood Waco, as you know it, was born. In 2020 doctor Kessler answered the call of her
patients and added an Aesthetics department, hiring BreAnne Dees as Aesthetics Coordinator. In 2023 Deerwood added Dr. Tiffany Remsing, a medical school classmate and friend of Dr. Kessler’s to the office as well as Physician Assistant Stormi Call who also has strong ties to Central Texas. In 2024 Deerwood Waco added fertility treatments to the practice in an effort to increase accessibility to IUI and IVF for women in the area who may not otherwise have the time or means to travel for such treatments. Dr. Kessler and team are the heart of Deerwood Waco and strive to care for each patient as if they were family.
